NGOs
We
plan to partner with about a few hundred NGOs in the
first year. And these NGOs will be spread across the
country. If you want to partner, do send a mail

Will
all the NGOs on indiavolunteerportal.org be credible
?
Having seen the work of NGOs for the past 10 years,
we have realised the sensitivity related to the issue
of NGO credibility.
We
endore policies like roation of board, documentation
of work....but would not make that as an issue for placing
NGOs on indiavolunteerportal.org because we appreciate
the challenges smaller NGOs face to get board members
or of manpower to ensure documentation and systems ....and
we will encourage volunteers to support such NGOs on
these and similar issues.
If
we know the credibility of the organisation, we will
indicate that this NGO is recommended by IndianNGOs.com
If we do not know the credibility of the NGO, we will
give an opportunity for the NGO to establish their credibility.
However, if during the course of time, we receive adverse
indications of the credibility of any NGO, we may take
them off the portal.
